EXPECTATIONS

While Staying at Chain O' Lakes Camping Resort...

We want your stay to be peaceful and wonderful.  In order to ensure that everyone has a peaceful and wonderful time, please review and observe the following Policies and Expectations during your stay with us. Thank You!

  • Campsite Check-In is at 2:00pm and Check-Out is at 11:00am
  • Cabin Check-In is at 3:00pm and Check-Out is at 10:00am
  • Please Check-In and Out at the Camp Store (MOBILE CHECK-IN MAY BE AVAILABLE FOR 2022)
  • Early Check-In and Late Check-Out is available for a minimal fee ($)
  • Fires are only allowed in designated fire pits
  • Firewood is available at the Camp Store – delivery is available for a minimal fee
  • The Wisconsin DNR does not permit firewood to be brought in or removed from the campground
  • Bark and/or limbs are not to be removed from the trees for your fires
  • Only one camping unit is allowed per campsite
  • Phone calls are only accepted between 8:30am and 8:00pm with the exception of emergencies
  • Management reserves the right to interpret all rules and regulations as they deem necessary
  • Uncooperative campers, guests, and visitors may be asked to leave without warning or refund
  • Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended…see Reservations Tab
  • In order to maximize our available space, a Site Lock Fee may be necessary to secure a specific site (NEW IN 2022)
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash.  Sorry, no checks.
  • Deposit amounts for campsites & cabins vary
  • Cancellation fees apply to all campsites and cabins. Cancellation fees can be used for another reservation at another time. No refunds will be given if cancellation is within 48 hours of arrival date
  • No refunds will be given on holiday weeks
  • No refunds on cabins unless the cabin is re-rented
  • No refunds due to the discomforts of Mother Nature
  • Credit card deposits are processed at the time the deposit is paid
  • A confirmation will be emailed if an email address is provided. Email addresses are kept confidential
Pets are welcome and should be under the owner’s control or leashed at all times.  
  • Please keep pets out of all resort buildings
  • Please pick up after pets…Pet refuse stations are located throughout the resort
  • Pets must remain leashed at all times and walked on the roadways or in the dog walk area
  • Please keep your pets quiet…consistently barking dogs will not be tolerated
  • Pets cannot be left unattended outside at your campsite
  • Guests are responsible for any & all damage or injury caused by their pets
  • Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at our resort
  • Construction of a Dog Park is being planned for the 2023 or 2024 season

Entrance to Chain O’ Lakes Camping Resort constitutes permission for the management to photograph and/or video the camping guest(s) and all visitors while on the premises and to use resulting pictures/video for lawful purposes without credit or acknowledgement to the guest/visitor.

  • Fireworks
  • Firearms (including BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns)
  • Archery equipment
  • Metal detectors
  • Golf carts, UTVs, ATVs, go-karts, dirt bikes, and motorized bikes/scooters

Quiet time is observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.  Outside of these times, please enjoy time at your site, but be respectful of other guests

  • Please separate your garbage from recyclables and dispose of everything properly at the dumpsters near the entrance of the resort
  • Please dispose of any wastewater in the sink behind the Camp Store
  • Please dispose of used charcoal in the fire ring at your campsite or cabin
  • Ground disposal of waste water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law
  • All reservations should be booked online through our reservation system (Campspot) (NEW FOR 2022)
  • Reservations may also be made by calling the office at 715.479.6708 or emailing us at [email protected]
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash.  Sorry, no checks.
  • Convenience Fee – There is a $4.00 convenience fee for all reservations (NEW FOR 2022)
  • Site Lock Fee – In order to maximize our available space, a one-time $25.00 site lock fee will be applied for any specific site requested (NEW FOR 2022)
  • Resort Credit…If a credit card is on file, guests may charge things to their site or cabin and avoid carrying cash around during your stay…all charges will be billed to the credit card on file upon checkout (NEW FOR 2022)
  • The speed limit throughout the resort is 5 MPH…please watch for people and pets
  • Pedestrians always have the right-of-way
  • In order to ensure guests’ safety after dark, please carry a flashlight with you
  • No bike or scooter riding after dark
  • With the exception of the restrooms, all resort buildings will be locked from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Please keep an eye on the weather.  Severe weather alerts will be communicated via our text messaging service
  • Smoking is not permitted in any resort building, at the swimming pool, or on the resort docks
  • Cigarette butts are to disposed of properly in smoker’s oasis or outdoor ashtrays, not on the ground
  • Smoking inside one of our rental units will result in a one-time cleaning fee of $300
  • There is no lifeguard on duty at Chain O’ Lakes Camping Resort…guests swim at their own risk
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) to enter the pool area
  • Anyone behaving in an unsafe and/or unruly manner will be removed from the pool area
  • Only bathing suits are permitted in the pool (no cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Swim diapers must be worn by children who are not completely toilet trained
  • The park speed limit is FIVE MILES PER HOUR…EVERYWHERE…ALL THE TIME!!!
  • Washing of vehicles (boats, cars, RVs, etc.) is prohibited in the park
  • ATVs & UTVs are not allowed to be operated anywhere in the resort.  They may remain in/on your trailer at your site or may be left out of/off your trailer in the main parking lot.  Any ATV or UTV that is properly registered and licensed through the Wisconsin DNR may be driven slowly (5 mph) between the main parking lot and the resort entrance so that the many, many miles of local trails and roads can be enjoyed.
  • Golf carts, dirt bikes, go-karts, etc. are not permitted in the resort at any time
  • Your visitors are always welcome at Chain O’ Lakes Camping Resort
  • All visitors must register in the Office/Camp Store upon arrival
  • Registered guests are expected to abide by all resort guidelines
  • All visitors must register, pay daily use fees (if applicable), and leave the resort by 10:00 PM
